A peninsula in the Horsö-Värsnäs nature reserve. The area offers outdoor activities and beautiful nature experiences. Several imposing giant oak trees grow here.
Fik & Butik
Homemade food and baked goods in a cosy setting. Also shop selling rape oil, crispbread and tea, etc. Address: Ryssbylundsvägen 4.
Farm shop and café. The focus is on meat, cured meats and provisions, but there is also other local produce for sale.
Kläckeberga Farm Café
The old Kläckeberga school from the late 1800s is home to the cosy Kläckeberga farm café. There is also a shop here selling garden products and home furnishings.

One of Kalmar’s most popular recreation areas with campsite, swimming and jogging track set in wonderful nature. On Stensö cape you can visit the spot where King Gustav Vasa went ashore after his exile in 1520. A memorial marks the spot. You will also pass the picturesque marina in Stensö fishing hamlet.
Dates back to the 12th century. The castle was given its current design during the reign of the Vasa kings in the 1500s, and is today the best preserved renaissance castle in the Nordic region. It is a living castle filled with activity; this summer for example there is the Children’s Castle as well as two temporary photo exhibits.
