During the summer months, from April to September, there is, in addition to the Öland Bridge, another opportunity to get to and from the island of Öland, namely with the popular bicycle ferry Dessi.
As it is forbiden to go by bike or to walk over the Öland bridge, the ferry is extensively used by both tourists and commuters, as it makes it possible to cross the strait with or without bike.
